We are CAKES, a chuuni-cute anisong band born at the University of Waterloo! Our members: Cindy (manager), Akari (guitar), Kate (bass), Ella & Richard (keyboard), and Sian (drums). We adore Japanese pop culture and mainly cover anime hits, bringing electrifying rhythms and delightfully over-the-top “chuuni” antics to the stage.Join us under the moonlight, raise your hands, chant away the mundane, and let’s sing melodies from another dimension together!
